Anyone notice that the symbol there looks a heck of a lot like the insect badge? http://tinyurl.com/cwmjhva
I think it is a forest fairy still. Bug/Psychic definitely bug or grass in there.
While it could be deliberately misleading, the English page refers to Sylveon having "a different type" from the other Eeveelutions, so I think we can probably safely rule out dualtypes and very safely rule out Psychic and Grass.
I mean, I know I said not to rule out types, but here I feel it's justified. --- Creator of Jay's Journey (see quote!) "It's not ten years old! Therefore, it sucks!" - Nostalgia whores everywhere
That's odd... because I don't see anything that suggests any new type at all.
I just...pointed them out to you. At least the possible new type of Fairy.
Yeah... except one thing. Those things you pointed don't really suggest a fairy type. It suggests a connection to fairies, but that doesn't necessarily imply a new type. --- Let's just pretend this says something witty.
*climbs out of ground* I say it's Flying. *digs back down* --- I'm not easily impressed; I'm usually oblivious to whatever's in front of me. Stunfisk is the epitome of monstrous majestic legendary creatures that spew fire.
I've been saying Flying since the moment we first heard it's name.
Sylveon. v Sylv v Sylph
What is Sylph? From Wikipedia: Sylph (also called sylphid) is a mythological creature in the Western tradition. The term originates in Paracelsus, who describes sylphs as invisible beings of the air, his elementals of air.
Also: Sylph is often a WIND element summon in RPGs, such as Tales of ___ and Final Fantasy.
This would follow in the tradition of Eeveelutions having their name point to thier type pretty directly.
