For example. Let's assume you are going to die at the age of 65, and Pokemon will end in 2021. If you accept, you will die at the age of 63, but Pokemon will end all the way in 2036. Of course if Pokemon will "never end" (for a VERY long time), or if you won't live long enough to see it end anyway, then tough luck, you're still adding 15 years for others to enjoy it just that bit longer.
Pokemon not ending means a guaranteed new generation being released around every 5 years at least, with new Pokemon being added at a similar rate to now. Anything else (where the franchise would lead, will there be an MMO etc) is in Nintendo's hands and is irrelevant to the topic.
Oh, and if you are unlucky enough that you were going to die in the next 2 years anyway, then don't worry.. you won't just wake up and die tomorrow. You get a little luck and live the same amount but still add 15 years to Pokemon.
Oh and btw, if Pokemon was going to die out in let's say 2022, but revived in 2045 by some unrelated company (or maybe even Nintendo or a "new Nintendo"), this does not mean your 15 years are added onto the 2045. It means your 15 years are added onto the 2022, thus making the first "dying out" take longer. You are guaranteeing an extra 15 years of Pokemon evolving and existing at the rate it will continue to do so right now. The revival or whatever will then happen after the same time period it was originally going to take.
Waiting for: Pokemon X (October), Minecraft xbox 360 retail version(delayed to June 4), Assassin's Creed 4(October 29)
Well, I'll probably stop caring about/not have time for Pokemon eventually, so then I'll just have 2 less years in life and a series that I don't care about is lasting 15 years longer than it normally would.
I'm not easily impressed; I'm usually oblivious to whatever's in front of me.
Stunfisk is the epitome of monstrous majestic legendary creatures that spew fire.
Yeah, sure, why not. As long as I die when I'm in my 70s, I'm fine with this.

No. I would actually like to see this series end in one or two more generations. I've been playing from the very beginning, and I'm starting to have trouble keeping up with everything, since I'm a med school student now, and will probably have little to no time once I graduate, and I would like to see one of my favorite series from start to finish, especially since it's been losing its "magic" more and more and I would like to mantain the good image I still have of it. Besides, the number of Pokémon is getting ridiculous.

If I cut two years of my life for +15 years of Pokémon I doubt I'd live long enough for it to matter.
