It depends which design I like best. I went with:

1. Bulbasaur
2. Cyndaquil
3. Mudkip
4. Turtwig
5. Tepig
6. I'll probably go with Fennekin

I'd love to say water starters, but as of recent gens ( 3rd gen and after) Fire starters have really been awesome. (sure Emboar could be said to be an example in competitive but ingame he pretty much crushes everything solo)
Only insecure and ignorant people try to debase someone online based on their username.

I like Blastoise (kinda), Feraligatr, Typhlosion, Blaziken, Swampert, Samurott, and Froakie.

I guess Water...
I'm not easily impressed; I'm usually oblivious to whatever's in front of me.
Stunfisk is the epitome of monstrous majestic legendary creatures that spew fire.

Fire types always seem to work better for in-game

Fire Types.

We were spoiled by Gen V. Regions used to be completely barren of Fire-Types, and what you could find was terrible or hard to get going. Especially in Johto and Sinnoh.
This is the worst bird yet.
