Even with that stat, the reason it's not good to use Charizard is Stealth Rock. That one move changed the meta game so much.
Even before Stealth Rock, it still wasn't that good.
Fire-types have always been the underdogs of the metagame.
So why is it if you Click RS for it on Smogon it says Charizard is OU? --- Volunteer at DWP. Jobs done 23--- William FC: 0648-5041-0950 Official Fire/Psychic Fennekin Evolution of every pokemon Gen 7 board.
So why is it if you Click RS for it on Smogon it says Charizard is OU?
It doesn't. It says BL.
Which means Charizard was too good for UU back then, but not used enough to be OU.
And What tier do you use BL pokemon in?
Plus my point was that before SR Charizard was a higher tier PS BL means it is too strong for UU but not used enough for OU --- Volunteer at DWP. Jobs done 23--- William FC: 0648-5041-0950 Official Fire/Psychic Fennekin Evolution of every pokemon Gen 7 board.
Yes, it has a Sp. Atk. of 109. If I didn't miscount (which I probably did; it's a lot of Pokémon), it's tied for 90th-highest Sp. Atk. with Typhlosion.
Pokémon with higher Sp. Atk. include Haunter, Ampharos, and Cacturne.
Add its ability. In the sun it has base 163.5 Sp attack.
That's its Hidden Ability that cripples it further due to it having half HP in the first place. --- I'm not easily impressed; I'm usually oblivious to whatever's in front of me. Stunfisk is the epitome of monstrous majestic legendary creatures that spew fire.
