This just popped into my head after looking around on smogon for a while, but what if they added a move that acted like safeguard (up for the party for 5 turns) that made all moves affecting your party to be neutrally effective when they hit. Do you think a move like that would go over well? --- PSN- JesterCals

It would break the metagame.
Imagine Scizor taking neutral damage from Fire type moves. Or Garchomp taking neutral from Ice. Or Charizard-*shot* --- I'm not easily impressed; I'm usually oblivious to whatever's in front of me. Stunfisk is the epitome of monstrous majestic legendary creatures that spew fire.

Prankster Sableye would probably learn this... *shudders* You just need him to switch in, set this up, and switch out. Repeat when needed... --- I'm not easily impressed; I'm usually oblivious to whatever's in front of me. Stunfisk is the epitome of monstrous majestic legendary creatures that spew fire.

I don't like the idea of it making all SE damage neutral. It's a bit too much reduction.
Maybe if it reduces all damage effectiveness by one stage though?
4x -> 2x 2x -> Neutral Neutral -> 1/2 1/2 -> 1/4 or Not Effective
And maybe for, say, 3 rounds, but 5 is just too much.
(I think there's already a move like that though, I just can't remember for sure... >.>; ) --- Founder - IRDC AND Fluffy the Friendly Deathclaw Fanclub ULCE#: 9,426 of 53,160; Misty is mine!
Hahaha yes, that would be aweful and amazing at the same time! It was just a thought, I figured you cancel out any immunities or resistances to not have any weakness would balance it a little. But Shedinja could still get roughed by hazards or status. --- PSN- JesterCals
