Multiple Abilities and IQ Skills.

Given certain Pokedex entries, this would be a great idea. For example, Snivy's Pokedex entry states that it gets faster in sunlight, yet Snivy can't legitimately have the Chlorophyll Ability?

If Pokemon could have multiple abilities in Mystery Dungeon, as well as IQ Skills/Team Skills, it could become mainstream and solve a lot of discrepancies in the anime and game Pokedex entries.

Multiple abilities could be good, yet could be bad. I could see a lot of problems for some pokemon. I could see a lot of greatness out of others.

Obviously though you will have some claim "no it's fine the way it is and would just make things crazy" but I say it would be a good idea, and could def help some weaker pokemon strengthen up. Along with fix some discrepancies. Nothing irks me more than Beedrill hit by earthquake... lol

Some pokemon just seem to do things naturally, ESPECIALLY levitate, yet their ability slot is taken by some thing else.

Arceus's multitype shouldn't be an ability, it really does nothing in battle, it should just be part of the pokemons data, that attaching plates changes type.

And oh my god, abilities like slow start, weak armor

I never said a Pokemon should learn any ability the trainer wanted, just abilities that make sense like Magnamite and Levitate (serious oversight on GF's part). Obviously a Kyogre could never learn Dry Skin. Nor should a Croagunk be able to learn Drizzle. Just like how a Pokemon can't learn just any move.

I like it but I'd want some sort of tier one ability and a tier two ability so things like sand veil/poison heal gliscor and moxie/intimidate Gyarados/Salamence don't exist.

Edit: Poison heal/technician Beloom and Magic guard/Regenerator Reuniculus

I've thought this for a while, all of the useless abilities (Run Away, Keen Eye, That-other-useless-ability-bird-pokemon-have) should be moves to a secondary ability.

Also a npc to suppress abilities would be nice. Some abilities should not be able to be suppressed. (Like abilities used for balance like slow start)

As for IQ skills, may be useful for other mini-games, but for battle? Hmmmmm.....*shrugs*

7 is good. I swear the school's 75-100 grading scale has ruined peoples perception of things.

Fireproof+Levitate would mean it has no weaknesses.
