How would you react if there is a Fairy type?

If not a flying type for Sylveon the only type I could see coming into play that would fit would be a new type. It could be and it might not be. Wind/air type. It would be a different approach to be sure. But that would be the only thing I could see if a new type does happen to show up.

There won't be a fairy type, so I don't need a hypothetical reaction.

Very first split second thought: "Oh god really?"

But then I'd realize: "Well, it's in the game, so no use complaining about it. Wonder what it will bring to the table?"

How will this new type be implemented in the new games?
I just cant sit any other way than this. If I sit the way other people do, my reasoning ability drops by 40%.

And if we really get Fairy type, then i guess that Clefairy and Clefable will be dual type, or throw away their normal type and become pure fairy type.

Disappointed because it's unnecessary. Normal does a good job of covering fairy pokemon. Clefairy, the fairy pokemon, has always been normal type.

But I'll still buy the game. A single bad change won't ruin the series.

Cool, we hadn't had any new elements since Gen 2.

I'd be glad the Fair Folk got their own type instead being shoved into the ambiguous Normal category. Fay are special. Fay are eldritch. Fay are not the norm.
