How would you feel if the metagame was balanced for Gen 6

GF had that mindset before Gen 3 where every new pokemon was overpowered to the point you had no choice but to evolve their pokes to stand any real chance..

I crushed people with just an Elekid, but now that's impossible in Gen 3 and onward.

Here's my advice.

Fire SE against Rock and Ground types.
Water SE against Electric types.
Poison SE against Water and Fighting types.
Grass SE against Bugs (Fly traps and tree sap).

But if you REALLY want to balance metagame, remove Stealth Rock. Period. No reason to cripple Several Pokemon from being capable of fighting.

If they want to balance the metagame, do so with worthwhile abilities for pokemon with obscure ones. (maybe introduce dual abilities nothing irritates me more than beedrill taking damage from earthquake when it's clear it can fly, yes this is example)

And also give the lower tiered pokemon moves that can be better utilized and make them more competitive, by giving a better movepool (give new moves that buff stats higher faster that are unavailable to already high stat pokemon), better abilites, and maybe buff some stats for pokemon I think it would really help a lot of pokemon.

Okay so what would it take to balance it to the point of every Pokémon being fully viable

Why would you want 600+ characters to be fully viable? That would be stupid and boring.

Not quite as boring as having just 51 of those be used in most matches

Except tiers exist for a reason, allowing the lesser used pokemon to thrive in UU, RU, and NU.

This so much. Learn the metagame. Besides Karen was just trying to excuse her loss because she only used dark type Pokemon. I mean she's losing to anyone who brings in a fighting move.

I am well aware of the Metagame. But say my favourite is an, I dunno, Aerodactyl. We all know that I couldn't really use it against an Espeon.

You can build a team around it. Or you can play RU.

Yeah. Nobody says you HAVE to always play in OU or UU.

I'm not easily impressed; I'm usually oblivious to whatever's in front of me.
