where i can play on such a simulator, like the competitive stuff,
but for normal people who dont care too much for smogon, stealth rocks and
all those same boring tactics over and over and want to play more intuitively?

Well, Showdown has a Random Battle where you get handed Pokémon randomly selected from various sets of all existing Pokémon (not just fully-evolved, either). It's really interesting; I got a guy whose lead was a Flying Arceus to forfeit with just a Wingull, a Relicanth, and a Joltik after taking out four of his Pokémon and losing none.

Yeah. Pokemon Showdown. Custom Battle. Because for anything that's ranked eventually players will always use the most reliable tactics.

Nice battle! Some neat switching there. See people, competitive is fun, don't see why anyone wouldn't want to try it. Are people afraid of losing that much?
