Essentially, a guy who leaked the BW Pokédex has announced (at separate times) that Sylveon is Flying-type and a new "Fairy-type".

Complicating this are the fact that he's not the kind of guy Game Freak wants to reveal new info to (he did leak the BW Pokédex) and the fact that his releases are in Spanish, so we deal with Google Translate versions. Apparently the word he used for "fairy" is also the Spanish designation for what Game Freak calls "mythical Pokémon"; i.e. event Pokémon. So besides saying that Sylveon is Flying-type, he's also said that Sylveon is either a "Fairy-type" or an event Pokémon.
For those of you starting topics about the PS4, there's a PS4 board:

I've never heard hada used for any event Pokémon (is "mythical" even used with any sort of consistency anyhoo?) and he has certainly clarified that Hada is the type, otherwise Sylveon, Clefairy, etc. would be...yeah.

I'm hoping he's trolling. I really am.

If not, Nintendo is stupid for giving him any information, and I hope he gets fired and/or sued.
