I would be disappointed if they stick to the modern "all the fae are pretty and magical and poo rainbows and sparkles and <3" without making reference to the fair folk of old days.

That said there is already a Fairy egg group, so plenty of Pokemon that already exist could have their types changed to liven the game up a bit.
