C/D Hyper Beam (and equivalents) should be buffed

Depends on the context really.

I've always thought the type of the move should have an effect on it's behavior. For example, Hyper Beam actually increasing the Pokemon's speed after using it.

Idk, there's a lot of sense the franchise doesn't make, yet in other areas they do. Just tryin' to brainstorm here. Doo doo doo doo doo....

Make the user able to switch out during the recharge turn. Problem fixed.

Moves that require a turn to recharge no longer require it. Critical hit rate is set to 21.4%. Sp. Defense is set equal to Sp. Atk.


You realize that last one nerfs him, right? You want "Sp. Atk. is set equal to Sp. Def." Also, if you want it to be retro, that should be "only if it KOs", and 21.5%. (Numbers courtesy Smogon)

Sorry I wasn't clear. I wanted the lower stat to be set equal to the higher one. And I should have added that the ability treats hyper beam as a physical move.

Not really, Slaking already OHKOs a bunch anyways. That recharge turn is what mainly hurts it.

Vital Spirit
Pokemon cannot be put to sleep, does not need to recharge after recharge moves.
