Is This Game Still Child-Friendly?

#1nick14383Posted 4/25/2013 12:29:17 PM
I have a 10 year old son, who loves Pokemon. He has a birthday coming up, and he asked for this game. I'm concerned though, because I noticed there's an "X" in the title. I'm just making sure whether or not it means the numerical, 10, or if it is an adult take on the series. Thank you.

It is most likely a reference to DNA and chromosomes.
It is still child-friendly.

They were going to name this game PokePorn, but decided to not change the franchise's name, so instead they went with Pokemon X.

Anyways, if your son is only 10 don't get it for him yet. Wait 2 or 3 years, and then get it for him.

Of course it is still for EVERYONE. It's child-friendly. Just new gameplays and such are changing. Nothing adult like there...

i'm sorry, but suggesting would stray away from child-friendly for POKEMON is just stupid

No, this game has evolution, and is thus not Christian.

Pokemon X is paired with Pokemon Y, and it seems to be a reference to genetics, though, seeing as the game has not been released yet, few details are known. It's also suggested to refer to the XYZ coordinate planes, seeing how this is the first game in the main series to have 3D models.

So far, there does not appear to be any child-unfriendly content, and the marketing makes it seem highly unlikely there will be.

I'm going to assume you're actually a concerned parent rather thatn jumping to the conclusion that you're trolling; which seems highly likely.

But, anyways; the X is just the title, its still child friendly, the only thing I would worry about is the 3D setting.

And if you are trolling, then 0/10 not a good troll topic.
