I was thinking like this:
-Parents in Religion A and B both buy their children Pokemon games. -Game Freak releases a Pokemon based on Religion A. -Religion A's parents are happy and buy it; Religion B's parents are displeased that Religion A got a Pokemon but Religion B didn't, so they don't. -Controversy
So just replace Religion A/B with Christianity and whatever opposes Christianity and you're set (unless religious people don't work this way, I don't know, never met anyone that religious).
There used to be something important and intelligent here, but I deleted it.
