Who uses headphones when they play the game?

#1gpstylezPosted 4/25/2013 7:55:42 PM
I'm looking to purchase top-quality headphones that will compliment and/or enhance the BGM and sound effects of the Gen 5 games. For the headphone owners, what would you recommend and why?

I don't care which team wins the NBA playoffs...as long as it's not the Miami Heat.

What brand are your headphones? I'm interested in Bose and I wanna see if anyone here has them and how they sound like.

which are quite inexpensive to anyone serious about audio quality, lol....

pretty much any product by sennheiser is good, astro a50s/40s are decent...skullcandy is probably a safe bet, but i haven't heard much about their gaming headsets (if that's what you're interested in).

Hardcore.

(new user so no edit button for me, sorry for dub post)

if you're looking for just headphones and not a headset-

If price is irrelevant, go with Beyer T90 Audiophiles. Some other good ones include Sennheiser HD650 and Beyer DT990.

I'm looking for headphones I can use mainly for music, but will sound amazing for gaming as well. My brother suggested sennheiser too. I'm not really familiar with that brand, but I'll do some research on it. I'm looking to spend $200-$300 and I listend mostly to various genres of rock music if that helps.
