Excuse me for preferring games that have games that have a better overworlds, better music, better pokemon designs, included puzzles that presented at least minimal challenge, rivals I didn't want to punch in the face, better in-game mechanics (not battle mechanics), and more innovation. Remember I'm not saying anything about gens 3 or 4. That would be unfair. All I'm saying is that Black and White are inferior to RBY and GSC.


Actually, let me retract one of those. I'd say GSC and BW probably have equally good game mechanics. The former having things such as night-day pokemon and apricorns,and the latter having awesome things like reusable TMs. But BW definitely has better game mechanics than RBY, which was just...bland.

Kanto was the best at having fun optional places to explore while still playing through the main story. BW and BW2 were as linear as f*** and there was barely any breathing room.

The only optional places Kanto had were the Power Plant and Seafoam Island, BW and BW2 had Mistralton Cave, Castelia Garden, Liberty Garden, Battle Subway, Moor of Icirrus, Royal Unova, and the ruins

That's not true at all. You're just blindly praising gen 5 without really looking at gen 1.

Kanto had a ton of optional places, like Viridian Forest, Mt. Moon, Diglett's Cave, Route 1, Route 57, Silph Co., Game Corner, etc. I could go on, but you wouldn't even understand because you're so blind and can't even.

Doesn't change the fact hat Unova was still fairly linear. There was nothing to do in the Moor of Icirrus unless you got Keldeo from an event, and I straight up forgot Mistralton cave existed because I got Surf pretty late in the game (though that's partially my fault for not remembering). But still BW didn't feel as much like a grand adventure that the series is known for, possibly due to a combination of the lack of required HMs and the more intensive story.

Did you see that "Possibly" there? This is pretty weak speculation, but I'd say that the developer's intent to focus on story for BW led them to make the region more linear, with fewer things to discover. But again that's really weak speculation.
