May be the same models but they might have changed how they render the Models

The one in X and Y look like they could be close to the anime art.

Well, when you think about it, the game is only going to have six models at a time on screen at maximum, and the less they have on screen, the more detailed they can be.

Yes really. You must not have noticed that the models in Pokemon Dex 3D have many more polygons than the ones in Monster Hunter.
