Forget Light and Fairy type...

I wanna see a Magic Type. Not "fireballs and magic missiles" magic, but sleight of hand and illusions. There are already a bunch of moves that would fit into it that don't quite fit in the types they're in now (Hypnosis and Substitute, for example).

Freaking lame....

Fairy sounds way cooler than that. Magic type sounds generic.

I'd still prefer faerie or fay.

No, since there are many different kinds of fairies.

From the typical "pixie" that most people think of, to the kelpie (a water horse that eats children, leaving only the heart and liver), to the Dullahan.

Why is "Generic" now being spouted in these topics like it's some win all argument?

Cacapish Type is unique, Occult type is unique, Holy Type is unique, but you don't see those being hailed as the next great type.

Pray tell, do you know of the Vittlerfolk? The Huldrekall?

Skogsrå? Sjörå? Bärgsrå?

There are absolute tons of fairies that see few appearances in media.
