What types do you want to see represented in the next Elite Four?

And the Elite Four are meant to all use mono-type teams.

[citation needed]

If anything, future Elite Four teams should match the original pattern of 1 or 2 Pokémon not of that type. Otherwise, they'd be worse than random route trainers lol.

"Allow me to introduce myself. I am Will. I have trained all around the world, making my psychic Pokémon powerful. And, at last, I've been accepted into the Elite Four. I can only keep getting better! Losing is not an option!"

"I'm Aaron of the Elite Four. It's good to meet you. Oh, I should explain, I'm a huge fan of bug Pokémon. Bug Pokémon are nasty-mean, and yet they're beautiful, too...Would you like to know why I take on challengers here, in this room? It's because I want to become perfect, just like my bug Pokémon! Ok! Let me take you on!"

"I am the last of the Pokémon League Elite Four, Drake the Dragon master! In their natural state, Pokémon are wild living things. They are free. At times, they hinder us. At times, they help us. For us to battle with Pokémon as partners, do you know what it takes? Do you know what is needed? If you don't, then you will never prevail over me!"

The entire point behind them is that they're masters of the type that they use.
Gym leaders are the same way (except for Blue). Heck, Cheren even complains that he had to use a single type instead of his own team.

I'm not easily impressed; I'm usually oblivious to whatever's in front of me.

Poison
Ice
Grass
Flying

I know these have had reps in the past but I want to see them make bad types challenging.

<_< So you do want them to be worse than random route trainers? lol

I like how you quoted Aaron, even though he has a Drapion and "I'm a huge fan of bug Pokémon" (thus localised) doesn't imply he has exclusively Bug Pokémon. Will and Drake have all Psychic- and Dragon-type Pokémon respectively so obviously they would talk about them as such. Does that mean they are restricted to those? We don't know. Even if they are, does that mean trainers in other regions are restricted? Nope.

...and Sabrina, Giovanni, Pryce, Clair, Candice, Volkner and the Striaton triplets. But even the fact that any of them use mixed teams means that mixed teams are a thing.

Heck, Cheren even complains that he had to use a single type instead of his own team.

"The Gym Leader position is very tough… If I had my usual partners…"

Nothing about a single type there. More plausibly, it has to do with levels.

I really want a elite four member that specializes in normal types.
We have too many psychic, ghost and dark specialists in the elite four.
