Ninetails is has frail defenses on top of being SR weak. Volcarona, the most dangerous fire type, is also SR weak, and to a higher degree. Next, Chlorophyll mons (probably the main thing sun teams have) like Venusaur, Shiftry, and Exeggutor are all pretty lackluster pokemon all around, not to mention Grass is a pretty bad offensive type.
Rain teams on the other hand get to utilize top tier pokemon like the genies, Dragonite, the various OU special attackers who get Thunder, Keldeo, etc. The same goes for Sand with stuff like Terrakion and Garchomp before it got banned.
1. Rain and Sand have better mons that fit the weather 2. Ttar and Politoad have lots more survivability than Ninetails --- NO TROLLOING!!! ~game_lover_man Spurs. "Bat" Manu. Tony Parkour. Tim Duncan "You." we already won.
I'm not saying that Sun teams can't be good though, but it definitely takes a player of great skill to be successful with a Sun team --- NO TROLLOING!!! ~game_lover_man Spurs. "Bat" Manu. Tony Parkour. Tim Duncan "You." we already won.
That's pretty loaded, it depends on how you like to play. I play very oddly, I use a mix of stallers and walls. Basically, I use Pokemon that make my opponent angry. (Paraflinch Jirachi/Togekiss, Swagger/Toxic Blissey, Substitute/Calm Mind Latias, etc) A good team shouldn't forget about any common threats. Weather teams, sweeper teams, BP teams, have at least one counter for everything. --- Pokemon White 2 FC: 1636-3783-8366 Ipsylos:Psyduck easily is the best representation of Christianity on Pokemon period.
