So I am planning on doing a No sleep Nuzlocke with a small (big) twist:
I can only use Pokémon found in the Pokéwalker.

Special Nuzlocke rules
1. A fainted Pokémon is dead and can never be used again.
2. I can only catch the first Pokémon I find in each of the Pokéwalker stages.
3. If I fall asleep, it's game over.

This means I need to walk 60 000 steps (to get all the stages), finish the game AND write a comic before I can sleep. Sounds good? Great! I just wanted to be sure some people would be interested in reading it. It's no fun without support. ^__^

Theoretically yes, but I suspect you'd fall asleep long before the end, so the comic would be frustratingly ending-less.

None of my successful Nuzlockes have taken under 50-odd hours. I guess it depends on what counts as "completion" for the Nuzlocke though. Is it simply beating the E4, or are you going further to beat Red/Cynthia/Steven depending on the game, for story reasons?

If it's just a plain old "beat Gym leaders with no extra story" Nuzlocke comic then I probably wouldn't read it. Ruby himself does those best (although so far I don't like his Gen V run).

Considering I'll have to walk an extreme amount, I think I'll be able to stay awake. I am going to play SoulSilver, but I'll be done once I've beaten the champion.

If I hurry I will be able to beat the game in about 8 hours. Adding walking 60 000 steps (about 8 hours) and drawing a comic (maybe 5 hours?), we have 21 hours. I've stayed awake for a lot longer than that. I think the real challenge is going to be the walking and speed-playing the game. :O

And I won't really have time to develop an interesting storyline for the comic, so I'll just go with the basics (i.e. epic quest to become the master!).

8 hours for a Nuzlocke?! Blimey, your Pokémon are going to be horrendously underlevelled surely, unless you've got a speed button on an emulator.

How quickly do you draw also?

You've piqued my interest now, I'll read it :)

Haha, yeah, they'll be under levelled. ;)
But that only makes it more challenging! I will play on my DS since I need to be able to connect to the 'walker. I think I'll do e walking in segments of 10000 steps so I don't have to walk for 8 hours straight. XD

I hope I can draw enough!
Glad you enjoy the idea!
