I miss the D/P/Pt slot machines, but only them. It was so easy to get a ton of coins from them.

The slot machines were terrible, so of course no one misses them.

Casinos were always a poor gimmick in JRPGs. Pretty much requires save-scumming to get anything meaningful out of it.

Voltorb Flip was awesome. Not its fault if you couldn't figure out how to play.

Most of the whining I saw was the inability to buy coins directly.

Anyway, the EU is rating games more harshly that have gambling in them, so a worldwide release means that slot machines more than likely are not back.

Voltorb Flip was an actual puzzle game that required more than simple luck. It is infinitely better than anything else that has ever appeared in the game corner.

No, Voltorb Flip really was amazing. Don't be mad that you couldn't figure out how to play it.

Slot machines, on the other hand, were terrible. If most people just buy the coins instead of playing the crappy games, just put those items or TMs somewhere else in the game where we can buy them for money instead. The Game Corner in general was a terrible idea, except for HGSS.

Voltorb flip was easy, but it took so damn long to get enough TM money even if all went pretty well. Gambling as a whole is BS and should be removed from this world, so I really don't need to see it have any importance in Pokemon. They can make a mini game corner for the people that like doing that crap, without any exclusive stuff in it.

The slots were actually really easy in FRLG since the 7's stood out on the reel. I never understood why people bought the coins in that one.

I've actually gotten several 777's in a row before on leafgreen. I'm not good enough at always timing the first two reels but I can almost always get the last.

I agree. it was a fun mini game...But, It was immensely frustrating that you couldn't buy coins directly. It is strange that they took that out when they created voltorb flip
