What makes Mewtwo legendary?

Don't dwell too deep into this topic. The actual franchise is very loose and speculative to many plot holes and inaccuracies. I assume due to the games limited capabilities, whatever is represented in the game is only skeleton in structure compared to the anime. Then again the anime lacks dark mature themes. The accurate representation of the Pokemon world I assume is quite harsh

Assuming when a player battles another player they are fighting each other from a different dimension like Dark Souls.

Why would he clarify a super powerful Pokemon? Unknown Dungeon is FULL of them, yet he makes mention of ONE very powerful Pokemon. Which meant it stood out. IIRC in HGSS it is mentioned as Mewtwo (not in the original GSC though)

Even then, The cinnabar island logs have been read by multiple people including thieves, scientists, and is known by the likes of Blaine and everyone under him , don't forget the suggest Mr. Fuji involvement and anyone they may have stated about it in the incident when the mansion went up in flames due to Mewtwo.

and yet no one mentions Mewtwo, few people even know about mr. Fuji's history. There are no legends in the pokemon world revolving around Mewtwo.

Team Plasma makes up countless members who were all over Unova so MANY people know of it.

and none mention it, no one uses it, but yeah all of Team Plasma knows about it.

That's because there is no reason to mention it.

Guess what, people acknowledge Nidoran exists, but nobody in the world of Pokemon ever talks about it in games.

Does that mean it doesn't exist? Does that mean it is impossible for them to have discussed about Nidoran, or come to the conlusion it is there?

Your argument is stupid, and you should feel bad.

Nidoran is a common pokemon seen by almost every Kanto trainer, Mewtwo is a powerful pokemon that few have seen, yet none talk about.

Your argument is stupid, and you should feel bad.

You're being ignorant again.

My point was, a person doesn't have to talk about a Pokemon for people to know about it.

That bug catcher in Viridian Forest never says a thing about Pikachu, but the likely odds are he ran into one depsite not mentioning them.

That's the point.

On that note, the Poke'dex has information on Mewtwo which means somebody must have seen it or noticed it, especially since it knows so much (something only the creators: IE: Head scientist Blaine and co could only know) by having that information available in all regions means all the scientist and professor certainly know of it.

Just like Genesect and Team Plasma considering multiple Team Plasma scientist worked on it.

Pro tip: Acknowledging something doesn't equate to being the same as someone knowing about it.

He's legendary because all the kids think he's uber cool even though he's a lame DBZ rip off with a hideous design and who Deoxys owns really bad. Deoxys> Mewtwo
#38Mewtwo_soulPosted 5/5/2013 8:40:57 PM
Oh and more evidence to support my point:

Blaine NEVER tells you IIRC that he met Moltres the Legendary bird of flame, yet a book makes mention of it.

Self righteous nerd? I just explained it, idiot who can't read.

Knowing about something does not equate to stating something about what you know.
