Mewtwo and Genesect are Genetically modified from another Pokemon.

Porygon was not.

No U.

Porygon may not be, but Porygon2 and Porygon-Z are "genetically" modified from another Pokemon- Porygon and Porygon2, respectively.

No, it isn't. It is programmed. It has no genes. Pokedex even states as such.

Again, would you try harder?

Ahahaha.

It's not funny.

Genetic implies the use of genes to cause a change in a creature.

It says in every Porygon 2, and Z pokedex:

"Modified through programming."

Because it is a cyber being.

Keep trying though. You've already lost this argument, but you can try to look like you were right, even though I can just bring up this.http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Genetically_modified_organism

Go ahead and explain why being genetically altered makes them legendary.

First let's go back to Porygon, it is programmed, many can be made.

Because Nintendo clarified as such, and their word tops yours every time. :)

Yeesh. Legendaries are legendaries because you can only catch one of each per game, M'kay?

Mewtwo was born from Mew, so many can be made.

No. They can't. It was genetically altered and was said to have mutated. The change of getting the exact same mutation everytime, is 1000000000000000000 to 1. Or 0+ chance.

Is there a possibility more could be made within the right conditions? Yes. Will it happen? More than likely no.

I'd even go on a limb and suggest the new Mewtwo form occurs due to another mutation.

In theory, in actual probability, no.

Can a random man walk through a 100KM field full of mines without setting one off?

Sure.

However, it is an exageration to say, yes. Therefore with all intents and purposes it is damn near impossible.

I'm still awaiting an argument on why Articuno is Legendary, or Zapdos, when as far as I can recall only Moltres has been mentioned as such, or how about the Musketeer trio what did they do to become Legendary by your logic?

I don't see the Kanto birds as legends either, they're just rare and powerful Pokemon.
The Musketeers actually have a legend behind them.

They are called Legendaries however, to be specific in a book within the games (Gen III to be specific IIRC) states Blaine met with the Legendary bird Moltres.

Get over it. Whether you want to try and use idiotic rationalization or not, legends about them or not, they are Legends.

2. One that inspires legends or achieves legendary fame.

This stands for those without their own true traditional legend. So yes, being overly powerful (in Mewtwo's case said to be the most Powerful (disregard actual BST) , the most savage (DPPLT Pokedex) "Because of it's abilities were raised to the ultimate" (HG)

So yes, being a powerful, mutated freak thats the ultimate and most savage Pokemon sure does sound like something Legendary.
