C/D: You will be doing a visually challenged Nuzlocke for X/Y.

"Visually challenged" cause blind apparently is offensive now.

Anyways, C, I've always wondered what a visually challenged Nuzlocke would be like. I actually did one for B2, but it felt too much like Black 1 to be a true visually challenged Nuzlocke.

Also, is the correct spelling of Nuzlocke with a capital 'N' or not?

Technically it should be capitalized. And the use of the term "blind" is inaccurate, because you can still see. I know I'm being literal here, but a better term could be found to express this concept. Rather than calling it a "blind run," call it a "without previous knowledge" run. Shorten it to "WPK run" if preferred. That way you avoid controversy.

Also, D. I prefer Nuzlocking games I've played beforehand.

The thing is though, we can always do that. Nothing is stopping us from popping in Platinum or Red or something and doing a run on that.

But with WPK runs, you really only get one chance to do it. If you miss your chance for X/Y, you'll have to wait years for another opportunity to do that kind of run, and I for one, don't want to miss out.

Maybe I should have just used blind. Now all the posts are gonna be about "blind" not being offensive.

Visually challenged makes no sense.
That implies that they CAN see, it's just a challenge for them to do so.

I prefer the term "visually incapable".

This reminds me of the legitimately blind person from the Black 2 boards. I wonder if he ever beat the game. He's a trooper.

If you refer down the adverb definitions: "without guidance or forethought".

Yeah, that about describes a "blind run" of a game to a T.
