I only use Pokemon I like. I use several Pokemon that are considered terrible, but I don't care because I love them -gives all 90 of his Pokemon a hug one by one- --- Don't forget to check out my MegaTen themed webcomics at http://www.drunkduck.com/user/Strain42/ (Currently Updating: Persona 4TW Add-On M-F)
Sadly, my friend Exploud is a one way ticket to losing a competitive match.
Luckily, many of my other favourites are not so bad (Houndoom, Crustle, Walrein, Toxicroak). My major ache is that I hate OU, so I'm always limited in my team builds. --- "We have no loofas in the Palace of Wisdom" - John Morrison
I feel like I'm the only 20+yo pokemon player that only uses Pokémon I like and don't care if the internet competitive scene cares because I only play with myself. --- Feeny, a cop on the edge of ter! Erotic Pen Hop!
I'm 23 and only use pokes I like. In game and competitive. I'd rather lose with pokes I like than win using the same lame pokes everyone else uses. --- White FC: 2581 1588 9644 // wii code = 1308 9776 3256 7038 // 3DS FC: 4527-7258-1744 // GamerTag: Loftice
I only use mons I like, too, even when battling competitively, and usually manage to hold my own - even if I only have one mon in the tier I'm forced to battle in. I hate how tiers are done. I just wish everyone would use mons they liked instead of the most powerful ones they have. When I was battling as a kid, the only rules I'd have would be like "no legendaries" or just one or whatever because they were too powerful to have a full team of. But then people had to go and decide on tiers of power. I don't like that. Now that they're ranked, the only people that are fun to play with are the ones who don't know what's in what tier or what the tiers are, and are willing to submit to the "no legendaries" rule. --- "The point of war is not to die for your country.
