Either way, the Pokemon Smash that airs after Coro Coro is released typically just "reveals" what's in Coro Coro. But I agree, there will undoubtedly be some who will whine about how Smash didn't reveal anything new in spite of this.
It had a little to do with the leak last time, but even if it WASN'T leaked, it was not that big of news. It was simply a new form. That would be slightly more than the equivalent of revealing Girantina's new form. It was the hype (whether it be what they said or the way they said it) that didn't deliver to what was released.

It's not going to be a leak by the 19th though.
By the 15th Corocoro will be released for everyone to see. It's pretty fair to complain about a special announcement that's just going to have stuff the public can freely see and know about.
The special announcement is for kids who don't follow the media like the rest of us though...
It doesn't have to be. Mewtwo was certainly a new announcement. If they're advertising it as "new" information, (which they are) then I think it's pretty fair to complain if all of it was in corocoro, even if it is just for kids
