So wasn't Sylveon as a new type just confirmed?

Ice was not very effective against her, and poison was super effective againt her.
I think that's what we can learn from this...

I think "strong against" implies "super effective against" and not "resistant to", but that may be a wording issue. If it just resists ice, that's definitely fine.

Yeah now that I think about it, that probably means it resists Ice.

It must be resist Ice otherwise they'd know what type she was by the moved they used on said ice Pokemon. They were testing attacks on her.

A girl dressed up as Sylveon smashed a block of ice.

I definitiely thinks that implies "super effective against".

It's at 1:36.

She was also swinging nunchucks right after.

The block chop may have been part of the "Fighting Type test".

It still implies she's strong against ice, though.

The last 2 lines alone tells you they were talking about resistances, so why are people talking about being sylveon type being super effective against ice....
Whole thing says nothing about sylveon using attacks, it implies sylveon taking hits from said type attacks...

Ha! Made you read.

Nice.

I'll post it exactly how it went in Smash.

- Sylveon used nunchucks to see if she was fighting. She's then attacked my a wrestler and falls.

- Sylveon karate chops a slab of ice a breaks it

- Sylveon has a box put on her head that is then filled with gas. She falls to the ground.

There were some other things too. She showed up to the set with a pink frilly umbrella, and in the skit she uses a phone that has an extremely long antennae with a white rose at the end.
