How many people will actually quit playing Pokemon if there is a new type?

If (type=="Fairy") {quit();}
else (MaybePlay();}

Really? I don't like fairy as a type either (in name, not in concept), but you would actually stop playing if they did have one? Don't be such a baby.

I'm not opposed to a new type as long as it's not "stupid".

I'm fine with Fairy, "Light" is overdone, "Love" is stupid, Sound is a stretch, etc.

Why would people quit? Series change over time. Pokemon is actually the slowest to change/add anything completely new.

So no, I wouldn't quit, I'd adapt to the change.

1. Is new type "Love"? If so, go to 2. Otherwise, go to 3.
3. Is new type "Light"? If so, go to 4. Otherwise, go to 5.
4. Did I say 4? I meant 2.
5. Is new type "Sound"? If so, go to 6. Otherwise, go to 7.
6. This type just seems... ugh... Let's quit while we're ahead. END
7. Is new type "Fairy"? If so, go to 8. Otherwise, go to 9.
8. Stare semi-grudgingly at a Pokémon of the new type. Go to 11.
9. Is new type "Soap," "Grease," or even "Buffalo"? If so, go to 10. Otherwise, go to 4.
10. Stare non-grudgingly at a Pokémon of the new type. Go to 11.
11. Play.
