Scald needs to be Water/Fire, even if it makes it terrible typing wise
Freeze Shock: Ice/Thunder

Okay, these dual typed moves are going overboard. It's probably going to affect a small handful of moves with poor distribution, not these widely distributed already good moves.

Hydro Cannon: Water/Water

Because they need double same types.

Dual type moves only work following the use of the Pledge moves, which grant a small pool of moves a secondary type, and it only lasts for 3 - 4 turns.

I think it'll be something like this. When I heard about dual-type moves I immediately thought it was a Pledge-like gimmick which would be rare to the point of non-use.

I'd be extremely surprised to see any old moves given secondary types.

I think you mean Hitmonchan for UU tier. Its crap stats prevent it from going higher. And there are other better fighting types that can learn all the Elemental punches.
