What are some times the series has disappointed you?

When I learned Pokemon Ranger wasn't Pokemon in color coded spandex fighting monsters. >_>
Still my dream spin-off tbh.

The original Pokemon BW games had the same syndrome as Pokemon Sapphire/Ruby and Diamond/Pearl: you had absolutely NOTHING to do or achieve in a fun way outside of further exploration after you beat the elite four.

Emerald, Platinum, and BW2 fixed this by adding more features to do after the Elite Four and stuff.

After they introduced that awesome thing where you can have any of your Pokemon following you around in HG/SS and then got rid of it in B/W. feels empty and lifeless without my Pokemon following me around man
Nintendo DS has become self-aware

When I saw the fully evolved forms of the following Pokemon: Chimchar, Tepig, Snivy, Pidove, Dratini.

Whenever I'm Nuzlocking and an early bird/rat is my first encounter on a route.

When non-shiny non-event Entei still hasn't been allowed Flare Blitz.

When Flare Blitz is still the only good Physical Fire move for Pokemon that can't punch.

When Beartic wasn't Ice/Fighting.

When I realised Beartic's stats are worse than Ursaring's.

The fact that when I saw this thread, the thread immediately under it was "Who else is married to a Pokegirl?"

So the fanbase, at times.
I'd put a quip here, but I'm not hilarious enough.

Ruby and Sapphire. I stopped playing Pokemon completely after those games because they were so bad.
so drag me down to the ocean floor, 'cause i don't wanna fight no more
