Fairy is weak to poison, Super Effective against Dragon?

How can a Fairy be weak to toxics, they are mystic beings which in most of the cases are inmortals, and Fairy canīt even touch dragons. Most of stories about Dragons involve a fairy giving the power to a knight to slay the dragon.

I need your help guys, please explain me this?

So it'll be immune/resist Poison and Dragon is SE?

Actually, I'd accept that a heck of a lot easier than any other theories that the idi-uhh... *clenches teeth* wonderful people here can come up with.

Aww thanks! But yeah literally the only reasoning behind it's effectiveness is to balance op types, makes it seem kind of fan-made to me

In Chrono Cross on the Blue Dragon Isle the waters were poisoned IIRC and little trolls took over after the fairies left.

Don't forget you also found Razzly about to get eaten in the marshes!

You have to admit some types have it better than others.

I'd say the enchanted knight still counts as the fairy's power. it sure as hell wasn't Phillip who made his sword stab Maleficent in the heart, it was those Fairy jerks.

As for Poison, I don't know how most fairy lore goes, but in Eoin Colfer's books at least, fairies seem to be weak to manmade pollutants/radiation/etc..
