I mean seriously. How many houses are in each game? Take into account most homes are filled with a reasonable amount of people, then add in the vagrants in each town who just walk around aimlessly. Not to mention all the gym leaders, and trainers who are in caves, routes, and other various places. One can't even claim that there are houses that you can't see, because in each game while you're traveling across the land searching far and wide teaching pokemon to understand the power that's inside, you SEE all of the region, not to mention a ton of places are mostly inaccessible to those without HM's. They can't all have these HIDDEN machines, let alone the gym badges to use them. Heck, some of them don't even have pokemon.
Is this just a reflection on the number of homeless in the related regions in Japan and New York? Will X/Y try to reflect the amount of homeless in France, or will they try to give everyone a home? This is a serious issue.

Hey, they did it to themselves. I've got it on good authority that some people took up the practice of sealing off all their windows and doors after becoming fed up with random people constantly barging in uninvited.
