I always thought bug was super effective against cause of bugs being more adept in the dark due to the majority of them living in it
I think it would be good if dark and fairy were super effective against each other

Or Ice being super effective against Dragon?

Reptiles.

Dragons traditionally breath fire. You would think that would counteract the whole ice thing.

I believe there are some legends where dragons are subdued by ice or ice magic.

They may breathe fire, but that won't stop the ice from freezing their blood solid.

Unless Ghost gains a resistance to fairy...

I guess TC thinks of this rumor "Fairy will be a new type. It is weak to Poison and Steel, immune to Dragon, super effective against Dragon, Dark, and Fighting, and Fire and Psychic-type Pokemon take half damage from it."

Yup.

How does ANY of that make any sense?

About as much sense as Bug being super effective against Dark? Or Ice being super effective against Dragon? Or Ghost being weak to steel?

Ghost is weak to steel?

Bug is super effective against Dark?

I know, you just confused me. You listed Bug being SE against Dark, Ice being SE against Dragon and Ghost being weak to Steel. While the first 2 are correct, the last is not, leading me to be confused about what your point is.
