Pokemon 1: 130 HP, 80 Defenses bold/calm 31 ivs in all stats 252 sp def
Pokemon 2: 110HP, 100 Defenses bold/calm 31 ivs in all stats 252 sp def
If they are both water type, how much would a thunderbolt from a modest, 252 sp atk magnezone do to both of them? Which one would resist the attack better? --- THAT'S MR ACE TO YOU PEOPLE Pokemon X and Y female MC is my waifu

Pokemon 1 would take 428 - 506 damage, roughly 115 - 136%. Guaranteed OHKO
Pokemon 2 would take 422 - 498 damage, roughly 115 - 136%. Guaranteed OHKO
I rounded all the percentages up, and they ended up being the same. Pokemon 2 actually took about .3% less damage, but the difference is negligible. I go for HP for leftovers, subs, rounding, etc.
btw, here's a helpful tool for you.

^ I actually input the values wrong, but the calculator should still work, as long as you're willing to run through ti yourself.
Ignore my calculations!
