possible retcon'd fairies discussion

#11eclipse_exePosted 6/15/2013 5:22:59 AM
out of those i could easily see about half of them. ( not counting already confermed and arceus's obvious new plate)

Togepi
Chansey
CLefairy
Celebi
Swablu
Milotic
Pixie trio
Liliigant

though there are a few more i could also see as fairys.

Snubull ( obvious from pokedex entries, also part of the fairy egg group)
Skitty ( fairy egg group )
Mawile ( highly likely leak mentions him, also fairy egg group)
Cherubi ( fairy egg group, name sounds similar to cherub's a form of tiny angel creatures)
Maybe Manaphy, though i'm not sure on that one.

Why do you think butterflies look like fairies? Those have 0% chance of happening.

Great, now Butterfree is guaranteed to get a type change.

Why do you people seem to think Pokemon with two types are gonna get one of their types changed?

They didn't change Gengar to Ghost/Dark in Gen 2, did they?

Why do you think its off the table? Because you thought of one example that maybe could have worked with a dark type?

When they introduced steel, the only type that seemed to fit it was magnemite, who happens to be a single type.

We can't use single data points like that as an obvious "they won't do this"

That said, I would be surprised if they did honestly, but some really do need it. We have a lot of psychic or normal dual types that clearly were waiting to be fairies, but it just didn't exist.

Because there is no point, when they can just make new Pokemon.

just occurred as a possibility that rotom may gain another appliance that turns him into a fairy. not really sure what appliance that could possibly be but..... still, it's not impossible.

Now this is a stretch. A home appliance that turns Rotom into a Fairy type?

I know some of you are excited about the new type, but really, I think you are taking things way too far.
