Keep in mind when Sylveon used Moonblast on Haxorus in the E3 Nintendo Direct, the "It's super effective!" message didn't show up.

Why would the first trailer show Fennekin using a Psychic-type attack against a Kirlia?

It's actually not the screenshot the TC is referring to, but rather the footage at the 34-second mark in this video that shows Flabebe using Fairy Wind against Litleo:

But if the TC compared it to the footage found in the Fairy-type reveal trailer, they would see that Sylveon's Moonblast also didn't show a "super effective!" message against Haxorus, and that Gardevoir's Fairy Wind didn't show the message until the Hydreigon's HP bar stopped moving. The TC is jumping to conclusions, since we have no way to know how effective Fairy Wind was on Litleo.

Not to mention that Litleo's HP bar didn't even appear.
