Wasn't Bulbasaur considered the best starter in general? Or at least, better than Charmander(due to the atrocity that is Charizard?)
Anyway, confession: I think all the Pokemon games are trash past Gen2. I try the newer games to rekindle the spark, but it's not happening for me. Even now, while going through B2, I still think the best game I've played was SoulSilver. I actually contemplate trading it in and picking up HeartGold instead. I also hope that a MindCrystal or something close to it comes out in the future in the style of X and Y or better. --- 3DS FC: 0662-3353-4779 PSN: GeminiX7
I never saw the appeal in trying to catch them all. I actually like gen 4. --- More of a Pokemon fan than TherianReturns will ever be. "A person is smart. People are dumb, panicky dangerous animals..." - Agent K.
Froakie is the best gen 6 starter. Bulbasaur is the best gen 1 starter. I want to erase gen 5 from my mind. I have prejudice opinions about anybody who started playing after Ruby / Saphire.
I am with you on the first two. I like the bubble frog and bulbasaur is ALWAYS my 1st gen starter of choice. I just like leech seed too much. Gen V was my fave though >_>
My unpopular opinion: I thought Gen 3 was the worst and I don't really look forward to its remake. --- If you need instructions on how to get through the hotels, be sure to check the enclosed instruction book
