Am I the only one who's...pretty tired of the pokemon main theme? >_>

It's not as iconic as Fire Emblem's or Mario's or Zelda's (even though those these two don't really have a 'main theme' per se, unless you consider World 1-1 and Hyrule Field as their main themes).

I LOVE the FE theme.

Mario: World 1-1 is DEFINITELY the theme, considering its iconicness.

Zelda: Overworld from Zelda 1 would be the theme.

Literally one of the best and most iconic songs in any video game. EVER.

In the seventh turning hour, should the victims shadows fall, will the irony grow hungry with the victory and all they sought for. We were one among the fence.

I'd be disappointed if the main theme wasn't in the next game. It's like, the main theme for the reason. Doesn't matter if you don't think it's iconic. It's the main theme, it's here to stay, and I'm happy about that.

Actually, I like recurring themes in general. Sure, I obviously want new music, but at the same having recurring themes in a series helps elevate the music for me.

Let me tell you something.

In DPP, where the title screen doesn't play them main theme, I can't hit the start button fast enough.

In every other game, where the title screen DOES play the main theme, I always spend a few seconds to sit there and listen to the awesomeness.

So, in other words, I am NOT tired of that glorious theme.

Also, so much this. Recurring music makes it really feel like the game belongs in the series.

Oh I love that. Like how in Castlevania games you always have re-instrumented or remixed versions of old songs?
