Yeah even the Gen IV Eeveelutions--Leafeon and Glaceon--had rather specific evolution mechanics.

Doubtful, since Pokemon-amie will more than likely not be in later games. So, that would be kinda pointless.

My theory is based on a current or upcoming event in japan. They gave out a eevee that knew sing... odd combo especially for a wifi event. So my guess is that teach eevee sing level it up and tada sylveon. it wouldn't be the first time that you had to teach a Pokemon a specific move and then level it up to make it evolve --- White 2 FC 3783-8203-6238 Trainer Name: Dibab
