I know there are discrepancies in the story, by saying that all three were one Pokemon, while also saying Kyurem came from a comet, but it seems likely that the whole Kyurem came from space, split up later, and the husk crawled back to the comet it came from. Call it what you want, you could call it the original Zekrom if you wanted, but its the same thing.
It's usually referred to as the "original dragon." Kyurem, Zekrom, and Reshiram all split from the original dragon as separate beings, so the original dragon can't have been any one of them.
Though this seems likely, Kyurem being the husk makes it sound like it was closer to the true form. IDK.
That is a very good point. Take a good look at the statue in Iris' champion. IMO, it looks more than a little like normal forme Kyurem on steroids. Full, majestic wings, while retaining the same basic shape.
I was thinking Dragon/Psychic, since in Gen 1 the legendary birds were Ice, Electric, and Fire, like how the three dragons in Gen V were those types too, with Gen 1's ultimate legends being Psychic, so I want the ultimate dragon to be Psychic too.
Why would it still be Ice type if it isn't frozen any more?
Articuno isn't frozen. Walrein isn't frozen.
But Kyurem is. IIRC normal Kyurem can't even open its mouth.
I always thought it would be 720 base to put it on level with Arceus
Can't be. Normal Kyurem has 660. Absorbing either dragon give it +40. Absorbing the other should do the same, putting it at 740. Although, if it's a "more than the sum of its parts" scenario, it could be higher still. But it can't be lower.
