Yes, that's all the game needs to have a solid MP experience.

No, I want more modes like capture the flag and king of the hill.

Most games nowadays are judged on their multiplayer experiences just as much as the single player campaigns. Oftentimes, the multiplayer feels rushed or tacked on, and there are even some games that focus on multiplayer and have the single player be tacked on.

I think Pokemon X would be more well received with a well thought out TDM mode. Here are some ideas:

-6 on 6 players
-each player gets one pokemon
-pokemon can change on loadout
-lots of moves adapted to the new mode, example: earthquake damages everything in a very large radius, not the whole map as it would be OP
-stealth rock would only be in a small area of the map and a one time use
-evasion clause would be removed, as it inhibits competitive play
-Blaziken would be moved down to OU again as running fast would not be great in a TDM mode
-weather affects the whole map

What are your ideas?

You know what? While we're at it, why not just give every pokemon guns? Then, we can control these pokemon in first person and run around the map trying to shoot other pokemon. Sounds good, right?

I'm visualizing this as Fat Princess: Pokemon Edition.

Meh.

That's actually an amazing idea. It's just what the series needs to revitalize itself.

Fat Princess was amazing. They should really make a follow up game.

Where's the "no, I don't want any new types of Multiplayer" option?

I'm not easily impressed; I'm usually oblivious to whatever's in front of me.
