Debatable. In my case, no. Grass = Treecho, Water = Oshawott, Fire = Cyndaquil

I'm not easily impressed; I'm usually oblivious to whatever's in front of me.

Yes, of course!

Gen 1:
Bulbasaur: cute and nice
Charmander: cute and cool
Squirtle: cute and awesome

overall: cute and pretty cool!

Gen 2:
Chikorita: ~ okay, but cute
Cyndaquil: meh
Totodile: pretty cool

overall: well, at least Totodile was good...

Gen 3:
Treecko: nice
Torchick: ugly
Mudkip: I herd you liek it! It's cool too

overall: they were decent

Gen 4:
Turtwig: it looks a little strange... but it's okay
Chimchar: it's kinda boring... but still okay
Piplup: cute, but doesn't seem too special

overall: they were all okay, but not really special

Gen 5:
Snivy: it's okay
Tepig: it's okay
Oshawott: it looks nice, but the frown is kinda meh...

overall: they were okay

Gen 6:
Chespin: looks kinda cute, but something about it is bugging me...
Fennekin: cute little fox, could've been Ninetales pre-evo... (the things sticking out of it's ears look a little strange, though...)
Froakie: it's... decent; my favorite of the new starters, but only because it's a frog; the white stuff looks really strange, I dislike that...

overall: kinda cute, but still missing some things... they seem a little overdesigned for my taste

Gen 1: cool, but not anything special
Gen 2: like them, but Feraligatr and Crocnaw are horrid
Gen 3: what the heck is mudkip
Gen 4: don't like any of them. I ditch for terra as soon as it evolves.
Gen 5: tepig: the bacon that cooks itself

The surest way not to lose is to not play, but where's the fun in that?

Gen 1: Bulbasaur > Squirtle > Charmander. Bulbs started my love of grass starters. Squirtle had the coolest end form and Charmander was okay. I feel charizard is overrated and I just don't see the hype.

Gen 2: Chikorita > Totodile = Cyndaquil. Hardest gen to pick as I played through GSC with each and loved them all but Chiko is my fav. It just was luck that gave me a fem Chiko first time through and that was that.

Gen 3: Mudkip > Treecko > Torchic. Oh gods this was probably my least favorite starter line up but Swampert was the best water ender for the three. To this day I hate Blaziken and its pre forms.

Gen 4: Turtwig > Chimchar > Piplup. Probably hardest gen to judge because I liked all the end forms except Piplup and its second form were lame but empoleon was cool. Infernape was cool cause he had a Sun Wukong feel to him (Asian mythology)

Gen 5: Oshawott=Snivy > Tepig. Poor Tepig you ruined it for your gen...

Gen 6: Chespin > Froakie > Fennekin. We already have a fire fox and Fennekin will NEVER claim Vulpix from my favorite fire pokemon spot. Chespin is the best IMO can't wait to see his evolutions.

But by gen order it'd be: 4 > 2 > 6 > 5=1 > 3
