I think it would give more utility to rock types and it a more appealing type to use.
I heard it was amazing when the famous purple stuffed rabbit in flap-jaw space, with the turning fork, does a raw blink on Hara-kiri Rock. I need scissors! 61!

I don't think so. Different types of poisons may mix together, but bashing two rocks against each other doesn't make one big rock.

I think it'd make more sense for ground types to absorb the rocks, being that the ground is made up of many rocks and such

Well, Poison resists Poison and is immune to poisoning. But Rock doesn't even resist itself.

Make another way to do it, but not absorption and not by rock-types.
