Evolution levels

Do you think the evolution levels in these games will be as high as they were in gen 5?

Ehhh this type of thing doesn't bother me much because they will reach evolution sooner or later is how I see it. I'm more anticipating new type combos, abilities, moves and move distribution.

I hope not. Most of my favorite Gen 5s evolve at ~50 or higher, which is a pain when you try to breed them. I understand it was because of how late into the game they were being introduced, but still, it was ridiculous is most cases. Even both Psychic lines feel like they evolve unnecessarily high.

I hope not, because it was so obvious that those level requirements were only so because of their late-game distribution. It's almost as bad as some of the level up lists in Gen I, where you had level 20-30 wild Pokemon that only knew one or two moves, only because you could only find them at those levels. They were able to rectify that in Gen II by making every single Pokemon learn moves at the lowest levels, but these steep evolution level requirements will end up limiting the way many Unova Pokemon will be found in future games.

id rather it be changed to something like

instead of rufflet evolving into braviary at 52, it evolves when it has leveled up 27 times.

honestly i dont know why we have never had an evolution method like that.
