Both Haxorus and Excadrill are terrible Pokemon. Nobody even uses them.

I like them both and I do use them.

Just not competitively

Anyway, hopefully it will have good stats/abilities/movepool, because otherwise it won't be all that great. Yes, the type combination is awesome and great and all that, but if that's all it has going for it...

People still used Sableye before it got Prankster, all because of it's type combo.

Even if it doesn't have levitate, you always have the choice of running air balloon. Not saying it may be your best choice but still an option.

With Fairy being added, chances are they will no longer have no weaknesses, as I have a strange feeling Fairy will end up super effective against Ghost or Dark, if not both. (Fairies in myth always are full of light, which counters both of them.)

According to the leak, Fairy is super effective against Dragon (confirmed), Dark, and Fighting.

Which, based on the fact it's floating in every picture, I imagine there's a high chance one of it's three abilities will include levitate, it will have 4 immunities.

Why do I have a feeling this is going to end up being the new Spiritomb/Sableye in competitive play?

Because Fire totally isn't a thing.

I never said it didn't have weaknesses. Just that if it had levitate, it'd have 4 immunities.

Reading not your strong suit?

Magnezone floats and it doesn't have levitate, so Honedge might not have it either.

Magnezone gets Magnet Rise...granted, you'd be better off running a balloon, but still.
