So what's been confirmed so far?

I've not been keeping up with the new Pokemon recently, so I pretty much only know about the three new starters, Sylveon, and the new Mewtwo forme.

I've also seen people discussing Honedge, so I googled that to check it out.

Anything else I missed?

Fairy types are real and they are super effective against dragon-types.

Oh yes, and there are now going to be hoard battles and sky battles. A hoard battle is a wild battle with up to five pokemon on the oposing team and a sky battle is a battle in the air with only pokemon that can fly (or have levitate).

Maybe try Serebii.net then?

There are 20 known new Pokémon (21 if you count Awakened Mewtwo):

Chespin (Grass)
Fennekin (Fire)
Froakie (Water)
Sylveon (Fairy)
Scatterbug (Bug)
Spewpa (Bug)
Vivillon (Bug/Flying)
Flabebe (Fairy)
Litleo (Fire/Normal)
Helioptile (Electric/Normal)
Gogoat (Grass)
Pancham (Fighting)
Fletchling (Normal/Flying)
Talonflame (Fire/Flying)
Clauncher (Water)
Skrelp (Poison/Water)
Noivern (Flying/Dragon)
Honedge (Steel/Ghost)
Xerneas
Yveltal

Also, some older Pokémon - we know of Jigglypuff, Marill, and Gardevoir for certain - will get Fairy adding to their existing types. Fairy is super-effective against Dragon.

We have a leak that has correctly predicted a lot of things that gives more detail on Fairy's type matchups (allegedly, it's immune to Dragon, weak to Poison and Steel, super-effective against Dark and Fighting, and resisted by Psychic and Fire), but it's not officially confirmed. The leak also predicts that the starters will evolve into Grass/Dark, Fire/Psychic, and Water/Fighting, among other things. Also, Pokémon Smash, a Japanese show, hinted that Fairy really is weak to Poison (and Poison needs the super-effectives), so while it's not 100% confirmed, it's still looking pretty likely even if you disregard the leak (which some people do but shouldn't, given how many things it got right.)

I forgot about Serebii. It seems to be working.

Still, thanks for the info!
