I haven't played Pokemon since I beat the main part of Platinum a few years back, and recently got back into it. Would it be alright to just skip B/W and go straight to Black2/White2? --- GT: Wholegrainey
Yeah it would be okay, I rather not watch/play a sequel though than playing the 1st in the story. Also some Pokémon not obtainable in B2W2 that are in BW if you care about that. --- GT: Ayumi Spender ~~~~~~~~~~ PS0: 4597 9585 4793 Only talk to me when I order you to.
Your call. BW1 has the better story, but BW2 has more diverse Pokémon available and a better postgame. Though BW2 does follow from BW1 and contains some BW1 spoilers, you can get the general idea. --- Creator of Jay's Journey (see quote!) "It's not ten years old! Just play Black and White 1 and then Black and White 2.
From what the TC mentioned, it seems like he could only get one.
Again, BW2. They blow the prequels out of the water
^ Pretty much this. B/W gives you a small glimpse into the rivals and antagonist' backstories, however B2/W2 are loaded with enough content and bonus features to make that dialogue meaningless. --- XBL: Phoenix6000 || Black 2 FC: 3182-3983-9645
You could, but you wouldn't understand most of the story points alluding to BW1. And you'd miss out on some battles and other events earned from synching a complete BW1 save file. --- Playing) Fire Emblem: Awakening, Guild Wars 2 Waiting) Pokemon XY

The drawbacks are crap compared to what you can do 100% in postgame. I doubt TC is going to regret not buying the first --- Freiza may be cool, but his brother is..... COOLER(get it?) 3DS FC:0645-6947-9076
