Probably Dark. I like a lot of dark types and there's never been a dark type gym leader. I would use:
Weavile
Umbreon
Sharpedo
Zoroark
Bisharp
Honchkrow

Steel or Ground. Maybe both if possible =P I love both of them, but if I had to pick one, I'd lean more toward Steel. I love their heavy defenses and how a lot of them are effective attackers as well. My team would consist of Magnemite/Magneton, Ferroseed, Scizor and Honedge, then Magnezone, Scizor, Ferrothorn, Empoleon, Honedge and Aggron for the rematch.

Since I'm from Alaska I'd have to go with ICE type! Though it's not the strongest type it has some perks.

Location:Snowtop Mountain
Gym Name:Snowtop Gym (last gym)
Badge: Tundra Badge
Pokemon: Lapras,Delibird,Weavile,Mamoswine, New ice type from this gen, Froslass.
