I don't see the problem. There were at least a few references to death in Gen V. One man in particular, when you're on the way to Victory Road in B2/W2. He's in a house alone with a Haxorus, and says something along the lines of "This is my last Pokemon. I don't want to kick the bucket and leave it here alone." That's not the only reference to death in the games, either. To be honest, I thought the Black and White games were downright dark at times (at least when it comes to some of the NPCs), compared to the rest of the series.

So, once again, what's wrong with including the word "death," when they certainly have no problem TALKING about death?


I don't think there's anything wrong with it, but until society stops thinking it is taboo to put the word "death" in a kid's video game, then the game companies will have to keep censoring it.

While we are on the subject, wasn't Doom Desire a kid-friendly version of Death Wish, even though that name wasn't used in Japan?
